TRIO SSS Peer Coaches
The TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) Peer Coach Team is a group of upperclassman TRIO SSS students who provide one-on-one peer coaching to program participants. As student leaders, Peer Coaches help program participants become more confident in their ability to succeed at Sonoma State University. They help participants adjust to college life, gain academic success skills, and find academic and social resources on campus.
Along with coaching, the Peer Coaches design and coordinate a variety of activities to facilitate camaraderie within the program and engagement within the campus community. These activities include outings, socials, art activities, monthly meetups, workshops and more.
