Applying to TRIO SSS is easy!

👉 Complete and submit one application for the TRIO program you would like to join:

Multilingual Achievers Program (program for students whose first language was not English but are otherwise TRIO SSS-eligible) OR

Student Support Services (program for all TRIO-eligible students) 

⚠️Heads up! The application requires you to submit an Income Eligibility Verification Form. The PDF form is linked in our application. Submit or have your Parent/Guardian (if you are a dependent student) submit the appropriate form. Your application will not be reviewed until your completed Income Eligibility form is submitted. How do I know if I'm a dependent or independent student?

How to Complete the Financial Eligibility Form: 

Dependent Students - start by filling out your Full Name, SSU ID, and SSU Email. Then click Submit.

You will be prompted to enter your Parent/Guardian's Name and Email. The form will be sent to them to complete and sign.

Independent students - complete the entire form yourself.

What happens after I've applied?

If you are eligible, you will receive an email with a link to schedule an intake appointment. The intake appointment will orient you to the services and support available through SSS and the requirements and expectations for participation. You will officially enroll in the program during the intake.
