Eligibility

Students who are interested in participating in Sonoma State University’s TRIO Student Support Services programs must be either a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident and meet at least one of the following eligibility requirements:

  • a first-generation college student (neither of the student’s parents/guardians have obtained a Bachelor’s degree)
  • a student who meets the federal low-income levels
  • a student with a documented disability
